Earlier this month, I attended the Traverse City Film Festival in beautiful Traverse City, Michigan.  I spent three days seeing films and taking boat rides on the lake.  I also had a bad case of laryngitis so spent the closing festival gala milling around,  smiling on occasion, and searching for a cup of tea.  Lo and behold, Your Day is My Night won the Best Experimental / Avant Garde Film prize and I was called up to the stage to accept it from Michael Moore himself.  I was, you could say, speechless!  Of course I will treasure meeting Michael more than anything. He said the film’s title was the best he had ever heard. I doubt it, but it was nice to hear.
